Job summary

Alphaeus Pte Ltd in the Philippines seeks a DC Operations Support staff to perform routine checks on data center hardware and facilities, escalating issues per guidelines. You will gather and update DC operation documents, take part in knowledge transfers, and shadow daily tasks.

The role requires a 12-hour shift and vaccination for MMR/TDAP. You will ensure all DC operations records are current and accurate, supporting batch scheduling and monitoring activities as part of a healthcare-focused

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC in IT or related discipline.
• Willingness to commit to a 12-hour shift.
• Willingness to work in the healthcare sector with required vaccines (MMR and TDAP).

• Carry out periodic checks of data center hardware and facility systems according to organizational guidelines.
• Escalate any issue to relevant parties according to organizational guidelines.
• Obtain the existing DC Operation documentation including details on DC facilities, network and server monitoring, storage and backup monitoring, batch operations and batch job scheduling.
• Attend the knowledge transfer to be conducted by the outgoing service provider/s.
• Conduct shadowing and reverse shadowing of the daily DC operation tasks.
• Ensure all the DC Operations documentation is updated.
• Any ad hoc task that is relevant to the role.
