Job summary

RCBC is seeking an IT Operations staff member to ensure reliable operation of IT infrastructure and system software, aligning with bank standards and MLPP regulations. The role involves daily batch processing, backups, and system testing, with a focus on compliance and smooth shift handovers.

The ideal candidate has a college degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience in networking, database administration, data center operations, or technical support, with willingness to work a rotating

Qualifications

• Entry-level skills in networking, databases, data center operations, or technical support.
• Ability to apply basic concepts to real-world IT infrastructure scenarios.
• Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to rotating schedules.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate proper shift turnover to the next shift.
• Submit and update daily operations logs and reports.
• Coordinate daily batch processing and printing; monitor batch processes with other technical staff.
• Operate computer consoles and peripherals.
• Handle regular backups and restoration of systems as needed.
• Participate in system testing and ensure policy/procedure adherence.
• Maintain adequate computer supplies.
• Handle administrative tasks as assigned.

How will you contribute?

• Facilitates daily batch processing and printing functions. Monitors batch processes and coordinates with other technical staff.
• Operates computer consoles and peripherals.
• Handles regular backup of all systems and facilitates restoration as needed.
• Participates in system testing and ensures adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintains an adequate level of computer supplies.
• Handles administrative work as assigned.

What will make you successful?

• College/University Degree
• Applies entry skills on any of the following: networking, database administration, data center operations, technical support
• At least 1 year experience in any of the following: networking, database administration, data center operations, technical support.
