First Datacorp in Makati City is seeking a project-based Data Center Operations professional for a full onsite role. You will perform physical checks, monitor devices for alerts, and ensure the health and security of data center assets.
You will conduct daily health checks across data center, security, file server, network, and branch assets, generate reports, and investigate alerts per SOP, with readiness for 24/7 shifts. Familiarity with SolarWinds and ITSM tools is preferred.
Job Description:
This is a project-based role with a full onsite work set up in Makati City.
Perform Data Center Operations such as physical checking of all devices to check if there are unusual alerts (amber, red blinking), temperature, humidity, fire alarm, ups and other assets inside the Data Center and UPS room.
Perform daily health checks of the following per defined schedules and produce status reports in the defined formats:
Monitor the performance and capacity of computer systems (including hardware, software, network and telephony connectivity, telco provider and environmental alerts or malfunctions) using a variety of tools to ensure efficient performance. This includes main (data center and other pertinent areas) and branch offices (data cabinet and other devices), disaster recovery facility, and cloud-hosted systems.
Monitor system availability and performance of local and regional core and digital applications, including the components such as but not limited to SQL jobs, task schedulers, APIs, alerts, windows services.
Monitor all data center assets and data cabinets in branches for tracking information.
Configure monitoring setup of computer systems and components, including addition and deletion of managed endpoints in monitoring systems.
Perform daily health checks as per defined schedules and produce status reports in the defined formats.
Perform issue analysis and troubleshooting of detected issues and alerts, following the standard operating procedures provided by the higher level of support (with possibility to shift left to ITOC).
