Job summary

Globe Telecom is seeking a dedicated professional to manage and service large-scale in-country data center infrastructure, ensuring 24x7 operations in rotating shifts. You will coordinate with contractors and vendors while maintaining ITIL-aligned processes for incidents, changes and problems.

The role requires deep knowledge of DC environments, building systems, and strong reporting capabilities to support client requirements and service excellence.

Qualifications

• ITIL framework knowledge and experience.
• Experience with large-scale in-country data center operations.
• Ability to manage incidents and escalations effectively.
• Coordination with contractors/vendors and stakeholders.
• Ability to generate and interpret regular reports.

Responsibilities

• Support and ensure smooth 24x7 running of the in-country data center operations.
• Act as Level 2 escalation point for onsite incidents and major issues, responding within SLA.
• Understand building systems (M&E, security, network, plumbing) and DC equipment.
• Document and update requests in the internal ticketing system.
• Implement best-in-class DC operations based on ITIL and industry practices.
• Ensure ITIL compliance for incident, problem and change management.
• Coordinate and provide support to contractors and vendors; inspect works.
• Plan and support preventive and reactive maintenance with minimal service disruption.
• Participate in internal and external audits and generate required reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
