Job summary

Capgemini in Pasay, Philippines seeks a Network Engineer to drive incident recovery, network changes, and adherence to configuration standards. You will apply Cisco Nexus and load-balancing expertise to consult with Operations Engineering and suppliers.

You will review engineering standards, develop tactical plans, and oversee major incidents or changes. The role requires strong communication, incident management, and collaboration in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

Preferred to have 1 professional level certification from a major tech vendor (CCNP, F5-CTS LTM, etc.).
3+ years in WAN/MAN/LAN/Data Center ops, incident resolution, and 24x7x365 support.
3+ years in day-to-day support of enterprise-scale networks.
Experience with load-balancers and related tech.
Knowledge of routing protocols: RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP, RMTP, OSPF.

Responsibilities

Contribute to Network Operations Strategy development and alignment with technical direction.
Support cross-functional peers to align strategic plans with Network Operations capabilities.
Ensure new network services meet availability requirements and validate designs.
Collaborate with service providers to ensure technical quality in contracted services.
Develop and evolve operational procedures and document processes for availability and maintainability.
