Job summary

Globe Telecom, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of data center design and construction, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and schedule targets under the Head of Design and Construction.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field, with PMP or related certification preferred; experience in data centers, technology, or telecommunications is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Data center operations knowledge including energy management, cooling, and security.
• Familiarity with local and international building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to manage large project budgets, cost forecasting, risk management, and reporting.
• Knowledge of sustainable construction and green technologies for energy efficiency.
• Stakeholder management across clients, contractors, agencies, and communities.
• Advanced risk identification and mitigation for technical, financial, and schedule risks.
• Understanding of construction tech and BIM, automation tools, and management software.
