Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Data Analyst in the Philippines for a work-from-home, dayshift role. You will develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decisions, while extracting and cleaning data for accurate insights.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, translating requirements into dashboards, and ensuring data integrity across tools. A strong focus on Excel and SQL will drive analytics and reporting success.

Qualifications

• Experience in building or maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI.
• Exposure to data visualization and BI tools.
• Experience with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear reporting outputs.
• Experience in reporting, MIS, or analytics environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards to support business reporting needs.
• Extract, cleanse, validate, and transform data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and data visualizations based on business requirements.

• Support recurring and ad hoc reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into effective reporting and dashboard solutions.
• Apply advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including Pivot Tables and formulas, for data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure accurate delivery of data outputs.
• Maintain data integrity and consistency across reporting tools and analytical outputs.

Your Role

As a Data Analyst, you will:

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Experience in building or maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI.
• Exposure to data visualization and business intelligence tools.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Ability to interpret business requirements into clear reporting outputs.
• Experience in reporting, MIS, or analytics environments.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and advanced formulas.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Ability to extract, cleanse, validate, and transform data.
• Knowledge of Power BI data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• SQL experience for data extraction and reporting support.
• Exposure to BI reporting environments or data warehouse systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
