Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Data Analyst to join a dynamic remote-powered team in the Philippines. You will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and develop dashboards that support cross-team decision making.

You will work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity while enabling scalable reporting. A strong foundation in SQL and BI tools is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, CS, Economics, or related field required.
• 2–4 years of data analysis or BI experience required.
• Strong SQL and data querying skills essential.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
• Excel proficiency with advanced formulas and pivots is required.

Your Role

As a Data Analyst, you will:

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis
• Understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling concepts
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms
• Experience working in Agile or cross-functional environments
