Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Security Tools Engineer to manage security policies and ensure secure IT operations across Windows and Linux environments. You will keep tools updated, work with IT teams, and address ad hoc requests to maintain strong controls.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cyber security tooling, hands-on IAM, DLP, SIEM, and PAM experience, and a solid grasp of security frameworks. A proactive, detail-oriented approach will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in cyber security tools/systems engineering and administration.
• Hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security, Security Information and Event Management, Privileged Access Management tools/systems
• Solid understanding of Information and Network Security frameworks and principles
• Hands on experience on Windows and Linux system administration and knowledge on various scripting languages

Responsibilities

• Manages security policies on security tools/systems aligned to Information Security Policy.
• Ensures smooth operation of security tools with minimal impact on core business systems.
• Keeps security tools updated and patched against vulnerabilities.
• Collaborates with IT teams and business owners to ensure tools deliver value for secure operations.
• Periodically assess tools' adaptability to evolving cyber threats.
• Responds to ad hoc service requests for security tools and systems.

• Manages security policies on various security tools/systems and ensures alignment to Information Security Policy
• Ensures smooth operation of the security tools/systems to ensure controls are in effect, with minimal impact to core business systems’ performance
• Ensures security tools/systems are updated and patched against vulnerabilities
• Works with various IT Teams and business owners to ensure security tools and systems are providing value as applicable, enabling secure IT operations
• Periodically assess security tools/systems’ adaptability to ever evolving cyber threat landscapee
