Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a senior DevOps architect to define and drive cloud-native strategies, lead POC initiatives, and ensure scalable and maintainable platform architectures.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Platform and Development teams to implement modern DevOps practices, document architectures, and present technical value to leadership. The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork and future-proof technology decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in a cloud-environment.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python or PowerShell for automation.
• >5 years Azure Cloud and DevOps tool implementation with best practices.
• Ability to lead POC projects to evaluate new tech.
• Experience collaborating with architecture, infra, platform and dev teams.

• 
  Research, evaluate, and recommend modern DevOps and cloud-native tools, frameworks, and platforms
• .Lead and deliver proof-of-concept (POC) projects to assess the feasibility and value of new technologies
• .Review existing and planned technology initiatives to ensure alignment with industry trends and future-proof architecture
• .Provide strategic direction on the selection and adoption of tools and platforms to ensure long-term scalability, maintainability, and alignment with future business needs
• .Present proposed tools, architectures, and implementation strategies to leadership, clearly articulating technical value, expected benefits, and business impact
• .Effectively translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for leaders and stakeholders to support informed decision-making
• .Work closely with the Architecture team to define and refine cloud and DevOps strategies and standards
• .Collaborate with Infrastructure, Platform, and Development teams to ensure successful integration and implementation of new tools and practices
• .Develop technical documentation, reference architectures, and implementation guides for newly adopted technologies
• .Define and maintain best practices for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), container orchestration, and cloud resource automation
• .Monitor and analyze the performance and effectiveness of DevOps tools and platforms, recommending improvements where needed
• .Drive adoption of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud and DevOps solutions across teams
• .Support technical assessments, tool comparisons, and cost-benefit analyses related to cloud and DevOps tooling.
