Qualifications

• 2-5 years in Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, or related role in enterprise or MSP environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based incidents in Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and incident response including SIEM, firewall, IDS/IPS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and analyze security events using SIEM tools to identify threats and anomalies.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents; perform root-cause analysis and containment, eradication, and remediation.
• Analyze network traffic, logs, and endpoints to identify suspicious activity and signs of compromise.
• Monitor and handle high-severity incidents for further investigation.
• Document and report incidents, findings, and actions per policy and compliance standards.
• Contribute to cybersecurity process improvements, playbooks, and incident response procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors for incident handling and post-incident recovery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, and analyze security events and alerts using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to identify potential threats and anomalies.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and execute appropriate containment, eradication, and remediation measures.
• Analyze network traffic, logs, and endpoint data to identify suspicious activities, potential vulnerabilities, and signs of compromise.
• Monitor and handle critical or high‑severity incidents for further investigation.
• Document and report all security incidents, findings, and corrective actions in accordance with organizational policies and compliance standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes, playbooks, and incident response procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external security vendors to ensure efficient incident handling, threat mitigation, and post‑incident recovery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in a Security Analyst, SOC Analyst, or related cybersecurity role within an enterprise or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Hands‑on experience investigating cloud‑based incidents, particularly within Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and incident response best practices, including SIEM monitoring, firewall management, and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS).
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)) are preferred but not required.
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to produce clear incident reports and documentation.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be amenable to onsite work in Tayabas, Quezon Province.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: Php35,000.00 - Php60,000.00 / month
