Job summary

Check Point Software in Manila is seeking a Security Engineer (Presales) to work with our sales team, design secure solutions, and address customer security challenges using Check Point's portfolio.

Candidates should have a degree in Computer Engineering/CS/IS, 3+ years pre-sales, strong analytical and communication skills, and knowledge of network, cloud, and endpoint security; certifications are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of engineering and pre-sales experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of customer architecture and cyber needs
• Exposure to network, cloud and endpoint security is advantageous
• Customer-first mindset with experience in large to medium enterprises
• Ability to design end-to-end security solutions for a customer environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong teamwork in a distributed team
• Certs preferred: CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales to recommend Check Point solutions meeting cyber security needs.
• Provide insight based on Check Point best practice to customers.
• Lead technical engagement, address questions, and manage key tasks like PoV and Cyber Workshops.
• Demonstrate the full portfolio to protect operations and information.
• Drive meetings with customers to identify problems and provide solutions.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with bid teams.
• Engage partners and customers on latest cyber security technologies.
• Participate in cyber security events.
• Keep timely activity reports and communicate with the SE manager.
