Job summary

Global Payments Philippines seeks a Firewall Analyst II to join the Network & Security Engineering team. You will manage enterprise Check Point firewall platforms, implement policies, troubleshoot across data center, cloud, and remote access environments, and participate in incident response.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in enterprise network security, 2+ years of Check Point admin, strong networking knowledge, and relevant certifications (CCSA/CCSE/Security+).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of enterprise network security experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Check Point administration experience.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and security concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting complex firewall and connectivity issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
• Industry certifications such as CCSA, CCSE, Security+ or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise Check Point firewall platforms.
• Implement and maintain firewall policies, NAT, VPN, IPS, routing and threat-prevention services.
• Troubleshoot security and network issues across data center, cloud, and remote access environments.
• Support firewall upgrades, hardware refreshes, and platform lifecycle management.
• Participate in incident response and 24x7 operational support activities.
• Assist with automation, compliance initiatives, and security process improvements.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver secure network solutions.
• Work on enterprise-scale security platforms supporting a global business.
• Contribute to modernization efforts involving cloud, automation, and IaC.
• Collaborate with highly skilled security and network professionals.
• Help protect critical systems that support millions of business transactions worldwide.
