Job summary

RIO LOGISTICS (S) PTE. LTD is seeking an Import/Export Coordinator to prepare and coordinate all import and export orders, ensure timely shipment, and liaison with agents and consignees. The role requires handling documents, customs permits, and billing processes across cross-country shipments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate all import and export orders.
• Process shipments and related activities.
• Liaise with agents and consignees on shipment arrangements.
• Handle documents and coordination to ensure smooth shipment and timely collection of cargo.
• Check contractor invoices for costing and invoicing customers.
• Handle Customs Permit Declarations.
• Monitor vessel arrival and coordinate with haulers for collection.
• Attend to ad-hoc duties and freight quotations.
• Prepare billing for customers.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Prepare and coordinate all import and export orders.

Process of shipments and all related activities.

Liaise with the agent and consignee on shipment arrangements.

Handle documents and coordination to ensure the smooth shipment and timely collection of cargo.

Check on the contractor’s invoice for costing and invoicing customers for payment.

Handle Customs Permit Declaration.

Knowledge of Customs Export Cargo Declaration and Terms.

Monitor vessel arrival and coordinate with the hauler on the collection of the cargo.

Liaising with forwarders and overseas agents with regard to incoming/outgoing shipments.

Attend to any other ad-hoc duties or any related tasks that are assigned.

Swift response to customers, shipment inquiries & freight quotations.

Prepare Billing for the customer.

Experience in cross-country shipments, LC, Switch BL shipments.

Experience in handling international routing/cross-country shipments is preferred.

Knowledgeable with FCL and BL shipments.

Work experience with Logistics and Freight Forwarders companies.

Able to communicate with customers and overseas agents.

Good communication skills.

Work as a team player.
