Job summary

V SHIPS SERVICES OCEANA INC. seeks a Recruitment Officer to assist the Operations Department in building a robust pool of qualified seafarers and crew applicants. You will source candidates through media channels, interview with fairness, and ensure a first-class candidate experience.

You will manage inquiries via phone and email, schedule interviews, maintain records in the recruitment database, and generate reports on applicant flow to support staffing for the group.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree.
• Significant direct sourcing and networking experience.
• Strong experience assessing and selecting the best talent.
• Experience in cruise ship hotel/restaurant/bar recruitment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through media channels (social media, newspapers, seminars).
• Conduct fair and impartial interviews to assess suitability.
• Deliver excellent candidate and internal customer experience.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face within deadlines.
• Schedule face-to-face and Skype interviews as needed.
• Maintain recruitment records with accurate notes in the database.
• Provide reports on applicant flow and staffing supply.
