Job summary

Emapta is hiring a Credit Clerk to support accounts receivable and credit administration in Mandaluyong. You will ensure accurate data entry, manage customer records, and assist with credit applications while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, financial administration, or customer service
  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience

Responsibilities

  • Safety and Compliance: Follow health and safety policies, report hazards and incidents, participate in safety training.
  • Accounts Receivable Administration: Maintain customer account records, distribute payments to relevant depot or collector, allocate incoming payments.
  • Credit Administration: Assist with processing new customer credit applications, maintain credit files & documentation, update customer account information, support Credit Officer with modifications.
  • Customer Service: Respond to internal inquiries regarding risk analysis and account updates, provide timely support.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and distribute bank statements, maintain filing systems and financial records, ensure audit-compliant documentation.
  • Financial Compliance: Follow credit policies, maintain confidentiality of customer financial information, support audit activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, support AR and credit workflow improvements

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, financial administration, or customer service
  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute bank statements.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and financial records.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and audit requirements.
Financial Compliance
  • Follow company credit policies and financial procedures.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of customer financial information.
  • Support internal and external audit activities.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes.
  • Support improvements to accounts receivable and credit administration workflows.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Allocate customer payments with at least 99% accuracy.
  • Respond to customer enquiries within 1 business day.
  • Complete at least 95% of overdue account follow-ups within scheduled timeframes.
  • Maintain customer account records with at least 99% accuracy.
  • Complete 100% of customer reconciliations by the required deadlines.
  • Issue 100% of customer statements and reports on schedule.
  • Maintain credit records with 100% compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Achieve 100% compliance with financial and credit procedures.
  • Complete at least 95% of administrative tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Implement at least 2 administrative improvement initiatives annually.
