Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in credit analysis, loan underwriting, or credit risk assessment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and ratios.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, cash flow analysis, and credit rating methodologies.
• Excellent attention to detail and integrity with confidential information.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, credit policies, and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Analysing credit applications and financial statements to assess borrower creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
• Evaluating credit risk factors, including industry trends and borrower performance.
• Preparing detailed credit reports and recommendations for approval or denial of credit facilities.
• Monitoring existing credit accounts and identifying early warning signs of potential defaults.
• Conducting thorough due diligence on borrowers, including collateral verification.
• Maintaining accurate credit documentation and compliance with lending policies.
• Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to clarify credit matters.
• Supporting development and implementation of credit policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Keeping updated on credit market conditions and regulatory updates.
