Job summary

Chevron Corporation in Makati City, Philippines is seeking a Credit Analyst to join the team. Based in the 6750 Building, Makati City, this role will evaluate counterparty creditworthiness, set limits and monitor risk as part of the S&T and Downstream operations.

You will prepare credit assessments, negotiate terms, provide guidance on letters of credit, and collaborate with Banks, Trading, and Legal teams to ensure compliant, timely credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP systems.
• Fluency in English is required for communication.
• Strong analytical and accounting background is highly preferred.
• Ability to work systematically and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handles a portfolio of customer accounts and monitors credit limits.
• Prepares credit assessments and administers the approval process for limits and terms.
• Advises on documentary credit, bank guarantees and LC terms.
• Monitors KPIs such as DSO, CEI and Payment Performance.
• Collaborates with Banks, S&T Operations, Traders and Legal for LC formats.
• Supports credit risk management policy development and implementation.
