Job summary

BPI DIRECT BANKO, INC. A SAVINGS BANK is seeking a Credit Associate to evaluate loan applications, verify data, and perform field checks.

The role involves frequent site visits to client premises and collaborating with the Credit Officer and committee to approve or reject credits. Ideal candidates have a 4-year business degree, at least 2 years in microfinance or banking, and are willing to travel extensively within the branch's community to gather accurate information and enhance credit

Qualifications

• 2 years of microfinance or banking experience, with knowledge of individual lending.
• Graduate of a 4-year degree in business-related disciplines.
• Willing to do field work (approximately 95% of the time).

Responsibilities

• Review and check loan applications and ensure data accuracy.
• Check applicant’s eligibility criteria and verify information.
• Conduct site visits to client premises to verify information.
• Submit loan decisions to Credit Officer or credit committee within the approved mandate.
• Support credit analysis workshops and assist in target setting.
