Job summary

Mace is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for our Metro Manila office to lead cost planning, procurement and value management across the project lifecycle.

You will manage valuations, variations, and financial reporting while supporting tendering, contractor selection and contract administration. The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement and alignment with net zero carbon ambitions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management, with accreditation progress toward chartership.
• Strong cost planning, contract administration and procurement experience.
• Analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of BIM, sustainability and carbon reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility studies, cost planning and value management, providing clear commercial advice from project inception to completion.
• Support procurement strategy, tendering and contractor selection, preparing contract documentation and facilitating execution.
• Manage valuations, variations, cost control and financial reporting, ensuring robust commercial governance throughout delivery.
• Assess design changes, claims and final accounts, advising on completion, defects and contractual close-out.
• Drive continuous improvement, enhancing systems, processes and commercial outcomes across projects.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, mentor junior team members and support Mace’s net zero carbon ambitions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or equivalent, with relevant professional accreditation or progress towards chartership.
• Strong expertise in cost planning, contract administration, procurement, risk management and change control.
• Commercially astute with strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Digitally proficient, with knowledge of BIM, sustainability, carbon reduction and industry best practice.
