We are looking for a Cost Estimator / Techno-Economic Modeller to develop project cost estimates and financial models for hydropower projects. The role will support investment decisions by assessing project costs, economic performance, and financial viability.
Develop detailed hydropower project cost estimates.
Prepare capital expenditure and operating expenditure estimates.
Develop techno-economic and financial models for hydropower schemes.
Assess project costs across civil works, electro-mechanical equipment, transmission, construction, and other major components.
Develop project cash-flow projections and financial assumptions.
Undertake sensitivity and scenario analyses.
Evaluate project economics and financial viability.
Benchmark project costs against comparable hydropower developments where appropriate.
Identify key cost and financial risks.
Prepare cost estimates, financial models, and technical-commercial reports for decision-making.
Minimum 10 years of experience in hydropower cost estimation and financial modelling.
Demonstrated understanding of hydropower project capital and operating costs.
Experience developing techno-economic and financial models.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and spreadsheet/modeling skills.
Experience with feasibility studies and investment assessments is highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
Strong ability to communicate financial and technical findings to non-financial stakeholders.
