Conduct environmental and social screening of hydropower projects.
Identify potential environmental and social risks and impacts.
Support environmental and social due diligence and feasibility assessments.
Assess projects against applicable IFC Performance Standards.
Identify key E&S issues associated with hydropower development, including community and livelihood considerations.
Coordinate environmental and social inputs into feasibility studies.
Review environmental and social reports, studies, and management plans.
Support stakeholder engagement and consultation activities.
Provide recommendations for E&S risk mitigation and management.
Coordinate with engineering and project management teams to integrate E&S considerations into project planning.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in hydropower environmental and social screening.
Strong working knowledge of IFC Performance Standards.
Experience assessing E&S risks associated with major infrastructure or hydropower projects.
Understanding of international environmental and social safeguards.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical, and report-writing skills.
