Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing the company's cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis. The role supports financial planning and operational decision-making by providing timely and reliable cost information, monitoring production costs, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The supervisor also leads the accounting team and collaborates closely with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance departments.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory accounting, and manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Competencies And Skills

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.

• Analyze production costs and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual standard cost updates.
• Ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end cost accounting closing activities.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
• Assist during internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
