Job summary

Nutritive Snack Food Corporation is seeking a Cost Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily cost accounting activities and ensure accurate financial and inventory records. You will review movements, prepare cost reports, and coordinate with production and purchasing teams to manage costs and inventory.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accountancy, at least 2 years of supervisory experience, and preferred exposure to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy is required.
• Experience in cost accounting, inventory costing, and manufacturing processes is required.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the cost accounting team.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial and inventory transactions.
• Review inventory movements including receipts, issuances, adjustments, and transfers.
• Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Monitor inventory valuation and reconciliation with the general ledger.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Warehouse regarding cost and inventory matters.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
• Support process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
