Job summary

Quanta Philippines is seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Supervisor to oversee cost accounting functions, ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation, and analyze manufacturing costs. The role supports financial planning and operational decisions by delivering timely cost information, monitoring production costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

You will lead the accounting team and collaborate with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• CPA is an advantage.
• 3–5 years in cost accounting; manufacturing preferred.
• 1–2 years in supervisory or team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing processes.

Responsible for overseeing the company's cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis. The role supports financial planning and operational decision-making by providing timely and reliable cost information, monitoring production costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The supervisor also leads theaccounting team and collaborates closely with production, procurement, warehouse, and finance departments.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory accounting, and manufacturing processes isan advantage.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and BIR regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
