Job summary

Frabelle Group of Companies is seeking a Cost Accountant responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and controlling costs to ensure accurate product costing and profitability analysis. You will gather cost data, prepare reports, analyze variances, and support budgeting, pricing, and cost-control decisions.

The role collaborates with Production, Procurement, and Finance to maintain accurate cost records, implement cost-saving measures, and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Management, or any related field.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in cost accounting or general accounting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, record, and analyze cost data for products, services, and projects.
• Prepare standard costs and maintain cost accounting records.
• Analyze variances between actual and standard costs, and report findings to management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Monitor production and operational costs to identify areas for efficiency and savings.
• Reconcile cost accounts with general ledger and financial statements.
• Support pricing decisions by providing accurate cost information.
• Prepare cost reports, summaries, and performance analysis for management review.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Finance teams to maintain accurate and timely cost records.
