Responsibilities

• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Maintain and update cost accounting systems, including standard costs and cost allocation methods.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly closing activities related to cost accounting.
• Perform variance analysis on materials, labor, and overhead, and investigate root causes.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to validate bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and cost drivers.
• Support inventory valuation and provide insights during physical inventory counts.
• Develop and implement cost control processes and tools.
• Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Provide cost data and analysis for pricing decisions and profitability studies.
