Job summary

Standard Hospitality Group (SHG) is expanding and seeks a Cost Accounting Supervisor to drive cost efficiency across our growing restaurant portfolio and production operations.

You will lead product costing, inventory accounting, month-end close, and variance analysis, while partnering with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to strengthen profitability and budgeting. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems like SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Management Accounting, Finance.
• 4-6 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, or FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of product costing, inventory management, and variance analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing, food production, FMCG, retail, or restaurant industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP or ERP systems experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with business partnering ability.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Product costing, standard cost updates, and cost variance analysis.
• Prepare cost reports and profitability analyses for management decisions.
• Manage inventory accounting, reconciliations, and inventory valuation.
• Oversee physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Support month-end closing activities related to costing and inventory.
• Analyze production, purchasing, and operational costs to identify savings opportunities.
• Monitor costing data within the ERP system.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance cost controls and efficiency.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Commissary, and Operations to strengthen financial performance.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4-6 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, or Financial Planning & Analysis
• Strong knowledge of product costing, inventory management, and cost variance analysis
• Experience in manufacturing, food production, FMCG, retail, or the restaurant industry is highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
