Private Advertiser is seeking a Cost Control & Management Accounting Senior Associate to bolster cost management and financial analysis across a growing seafood business. You will monitor costs, prepare reports, and deliver insights for budgeting, pricing, and inventory decisions.
The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance with 2–4 years in cost management and strong Excel/ERP skills. CPA is a plus, and collaboration across departments is essential to drive cost efficiency.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to support cost management, financial analysis, and management reporting for our growing seafood business. The role will monitor product and operational costs, analyze variances, maintain accurate cost data, and provide insights that support budgeting, pricing, inventory management, and business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze product, production, inventory, and operating costs.
Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and management reports.
Review costing data and identify significant cost movements or discrepancies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning activities.
Assist in product costing and pricing analysis.
Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Procurement, and other departments to validate cost-related data.
Monitor inventory valuation and investigate cost variances.
Recommend opportunities to improve cost efficiency and financial controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
At least 2–4 years of experience in cost management, management accounting, financial analysis, or a related function.
Experience in product costing, inventory, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
Ability to analyze financial data and translate findings into actionable insights.
Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across different departments.
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, food production, seafood, or other inventory-intensive industries is an advantage.
CPA or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
