Senior Corporate Trainer (Human Resources) – Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Trainer to join the Human Resources function on a contractual basis. This role requires a mature, accomplished training professional with extensive experience in both in‑person and online learning delivery. The trainer will be responsible for elevating workforce capability, strengthening leadership effectiveness, and embedding consistent HR and service standards across Southeast Asia.

The ideal candidate brings depth, presence, and the ability to design and deliver training that drives measurable behavioral change — particularly in virtual learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end‑to‑end design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs across the region, including:
• Leadership and supervisory development
• HR compliance, policy, and regulatory training
• Customer service excellence and operational standards
• Performance management, coaching, and feedback culture
• Change management and culture‑building initiatives
• Deliver high‑impact online training using platforms such as Zoom, Teams, or equivalent, ensuring strong engagement, interaction, and learning retention.
• Design virtual learning materials, including digital modules, facilitator guides, breakout‑room activities, and online assessments.
• Conduct comprehensive training needs analyses and propose structured capability‑building roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Facilitate engaging workshops for frontline employees, supervisors, and senior managers across multiple countries.
• Provide coaching and advisory support to people managers on performance, communication, and team development.
• Partner with HR to establish a regional Learning & Development framework that supports long‑term organizational growth.
• Ensure all training content adheres to HR governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Monitor and report on training effectiveness, including post‑training assessments, behavioral indicators, and KPI outcomes.
• Support HR in driving culture, engagement, and service‑excellence programs across Southeast Asia.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in corporate training, HR development, or Learning & Development.
• Demonstrated expertise in virtual training delivery, including:
• Using digital facilitation tools (polls, breakout rooms, whiteboards)
• Maintaining engagement in remote environments
• Proven success in regional or multi‑country training, ideally within Southeast Asia.
• Strong background in leadership development, behavioral training, and HR‑aligned capability programs.
• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Deep understanding of HR processes, organizational behavior, and people‑management practices.
• Experience in travel, hospitality, or customer‑centric industries is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an advantage.
• Mature, confident, and able to influence at all organizational levels.
