Job summary

Asea Airports Development Corporation is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to provide legal support on corporate, commercial, and business matters in the Philippines. You will advise on transactions, draft and negotiate contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple agencies.

The role requires a Philippine Bar admission and 3+ years in corporate or commercial law, with preferred experience in land titles and government relations.

Qualifications

  • Law degree required (Philippines).
  • Philippine Bar in good standing is mandatory.
  • Minimum 3 years of corporate/commercial law experience.
  • Experience with land/title transfers and property transactions preferred.
  • Experience dealing with DOLE and government agencies is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine corporate, labor, property, contract and commercial laws.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently with attention to detail.
  • Visayas or Mindanao familiarity preferred.
  • Mid-to-senior level legal professional with corporate, government relations and property experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements and other documents.
  • Handle corporate registrations, permits and regulatory matters.
  • Manage land title transfers, property acquisitions, sales, leases and related docs.
  • Conduct due diligence and review land titles and deeds.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and corporate requirements.
  • Coordinate with DOLE and other government agencies on labor matters.
  • Manage government relations and regulatory concerns for the company.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks; provide practical business solutions.
  • Prepare and review corporate resolutions and documents.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist in resolving disputes and legal claims.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides legal advice on corporate and commercial transactions
  • Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts, agreements, and legal documents

  • Handles land title transfers, property acquisitions, sales, leases, and related documentation
  • Conducts due diligence and reviews land titles, deeds, and real estate documents
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate requirements
  • Handles labor-related legal matters and coordinates with DOLE and other government agencies
  • Manages government relations and regulatory concerns on behalf of the company
  • Manages legal risks and provides practical solutions to business concerns
  • Prepares and reviews corporate documents, resolutions, and other legal requirements
  • Coordinates with external counsel, government agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Assists in resolving disputes and handling legal claims when necessary
Qualifications

  • Member of the Philippine Bar in good standing
  • At least 3 years of relevant corporate or commercial law experience
  • Experience in land title transfers and property transactions is highly preferred
  • Experience dealing with DOLE and other government agencies is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine corporate, labor, property, contract, and commercial laws
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Preferably based in or with strong professional familiarity in the Visayas or Mindanao region
  • Preferably a mid-to-senior level legal professional with substantial experience in corporate law, government relations, labor matters, and property transactions
