Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, MOUs, NDAs, partnership agreements, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and other strategic transactions.
• Liaise with external counsel and manage legal risks on behalf of the company.
• Ensure legal compliance across various jurisdictions and advise on legal implications of business decisions.
• Review and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations and apply them to the company’s operations.
• Assist in policy development and internal legal training sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in corporate or commercial law, ideally within a law firm or in-house legal team.
