Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with accounts payable functions and other day-to-day tasks.
• Support external audits with year-end reconciliations and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

The Role

We’re seeking a Corporate Accountant to support our finance team by ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys collaborating across departments, improving financial processes, and contributing to the organization’s financial integrity.

Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).

Timezone: Monday to Friday

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems, advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, etc.), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Characteristics: Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, collaborative, and committed to maintaining high standards of financial accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Complete work-in-progress project reconciliations and collaborate with project managers to ensure timely project closeouts.
• Assist with accounts payable processes and other day-to-day accounting functions as needed.
• Support external audits by preparing year-end account reconciliations and providing requested financial documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and assist with special accounting projects and financial reporting as needed.
