Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a C&I Technician to support preventive and corrective maintenance of control and instrumentation systems across our plant fleet in the Philippines.

You will calibrate instruments, troubleshoot controls, and assist start-up tests, while collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable generation and positive community impact.

Qualifications

• Vocational degree in Instrumentation and Control Technology.
• At least 2 years in maintenance work in industrial setting.
• Preferably with calibration experience for process instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on instruments and control systems, including calibration and repair.
• Assists supervisor in functional tests and instrument evaluation during unit start-up.
• Troubleshoots, overhauls and repairs process monitoring systems and power supply instrumentation.
• Maintains records and supports outage planning and project execution.

As C&I Technician, you will responsible for providing assistance to the C&I Supervisor in the proper execution, efficient and effective implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance of the control and instrumentation system of the plant for safe and reliable operation of generating units, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance work of various instruments and control systems in the plant, including calibration, repair and simulation of plant equipment.
• Assists the Control & Instrumentation Supervisor in the conduct of Functional Test, Performance Rating Test and Evaluation of process instruments indication during unit start-up.
• Perform troubleshooting, overhaul and/or repair of the following:
• Process monitoring and Control System
• Instrument and Power Supply system
• Pneumatic and Electronic Control Instrumentation and final control element of all pneumatic valves

Education & Experience:
