Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Mechanical Technician to execute preventive and major corrective maintenance on plant machinery, working with the maintenance team to ensure reliability and safety in operations.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background, a valid engineering license, and 1–2 years of experience in power plant maintenance, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering or related course.
• Registered Engineer.
• 1–2 years experience as Mechanic in a power plant or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Performs regular preventive and corrective maintenance work on machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Performs troubleshooting of defective machinery or mechanical equipment. Identifies causes and extent of malfunctions and implements corrective repair or recommends replacement.
• Conducts periodic physical inspections of running equipment to detect leaks and abnormalities and reports to concerned sections to rectify abnormalities.

As Mechanical Technician, you will responsible for the execution of preventive and major corrective maintenance activities of the main engineers in accordance with Company Policies, procedures, and standards.. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
