Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a C&I Engineering Senior Specialist in Pagbilao, Quezon to drive continuous improvement and reliability for DCS, SCADA and C&I systems across its thermal assets. You will collaborate with O&M and Technical Services to deliver results and support community-focused energy initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation, a PRC license (ECE/REE), and at least 5 years in DCS, C&I, and OT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation or equivalent engineering discipline.
• Registered PRC Licensed Engineer (ECE/REE) or equivalent credential.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in DCS, C&I, and OT systems within power plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide decisive technical advice and support to site O&M teams to optimize plant performance, manage C&I/OT system reliability, and assist in outages or plant failures.
• Formulate Lifecycle Management Plans (LCMP) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies, and spare parts management for DCS, C&I, and OT assets.
• Manage OT risks, cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability assessments, and software licensing across DCS and SCADA systems.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) reviews, and C&I engineering projects from planning to commissioning.

As C&I Engineering Senior Specialist, you will drive continuous improvement and reliability for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), SCADA, and C&I systems across thermal power assets, contributing directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with site Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Technical Services teams to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

What You Will Need:

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Registered PRC Licensed Engineer (ECE / REE) or equivalent professional credential.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in DCS, C&I, and OT systems within power plant environments.

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in DCS, SCADA, and PLC system architecture, basic programming, and online fault analysis.
• Advanced understanding of plant logic diagrams, operational limits, calibration, and C&I failure mechanisms.
• Strong background in networking, cybersecurity standards, and developing OT asset health dashboards.
• Proficiency with CMMS interfaces, quality control plans (QCP), and technical risk assessments.
