Job summary

GNPower Mariveles Energy Center Ltd. Co. seeks an Instrumentation and Control Technician to support the I&C Supervisor in preventive and corrective maintenance of the plant's control and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation of generating units.

You will work with the maintenance team to perform functional tests, calibrations, troubleshooting, and repair of process monitoring and control systems, pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, and final control elements.

Qualifications

• Requires vocational degree in instrumentation and control technology.
• At least 2 years in industrial maintenance.
• Prefer calibration experience for process instrumentation or related certs.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance of instruments and control systems, including calibration, repair and simulation of plant equipment.
• Assists the Control & Instrumentation Supervisor in Functional Test, Performance Rating Test and evaluation during unit start-up.
• Performs troubleshooting, overhaul and repair of process monitoring and control systems, instrument power supply, and pneumatic/electronic instrumentation.
• Maintains documentation and records of maintenance activities.
• Supports outage and project activities as required.

As I&C Technician, you will responsible for providing assistance to the I&C Supervisor in the proper execution, efficient and effective implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance of the control and instrumentation system of the plant for safe and reliable operation of generating units, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with Maintenance team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance work of various instruments and control systems in the plant, including calibration, repair and simulation of plant equipment.
• Assists the Control & Instrumentation Supervisor in the conduct of Functional Test, Performance Rating Test and Evaluation of process instruments indication during unit start-up.
• Perform troubleshooting, overhaul and/or repair of the following:
• Process monitoring and Control System
• Instrument and Power Supply system
• Pneumatic and Electronic Control Instrumentation and final control element of all pneumatic valves
