Job summary

2GO Group, Inc. in Cebu City is looking for an Inspection Specialist to ensure serviceability, quality, and availability of container vans and trailers through regular inspections, monitoring, and reporting on repairs and asset disposition.

The role supports efficient operations by maintaining inventory records, monitoring asset condition, validating repair billings, and delivering timely productivity reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in container van, trailer, automotive, or heavy equipment inspection/maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct damage inspections of repairable container vans and trailers at in-house and external contractor sites.
• Perform quality inspections of newly repaired assets to meet established standards.
• Monitor daily inventory of trailers and track availability of food-grade container vans.
• Monitor trailer tire condition and maintain accurate tire inventory records.
• Identify and endorse assets that are no longer serviceable for disposal.
• Check, validate, and review vulcanizing services and related billings for accuracy.
• Submit monthly repair production/output reports to EMD Central.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors on inspection findings and repair requirements.

You are responsible for ensuring the serviceability, quality, and availability of container vans and trailers through regular inspection, monitoring, and validation of repair activities. The role supports efficient equipment operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring equipment condition, validating repair-related billings, and providing timely reports on repair productivity and asset disposition.

What you’ll do

• Conduct damage inspections of repairable container vans and trailers at the in-house repair area and external contractors’ premises.
• Perform quality inspections of newly repaired container vans and trailers to ensure repairs meet established quality and operational standards.
• Conduct daily inventory monitoring of trailers and track the availability of food-grade container vans.
• Monitor trailer tire condition and maintain accurate tire inventory records.
• Identify and endorse container vans and trailers that are no longer serviceable for proper disposal.
• Check, validate, and review vulcanizing services and related billings for accuracy.
• Prepare and submit monthly container van and trailer repair production/output reports to EMD Central.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors on inspection findings, repair requirements, equipment availability, and other equipment maintenance concerns.

Educational Background

• Graduate of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Technology, Industrial Technology, or other related technical courses.

Professional Experience

• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in container van, trailer, automotive, or heavy equipment inspection, repair, and maintenance operations.
• Experience in quality inspection, equipment inventory monitoring, repair coordination, or maintenance documentation and reporting is preferred
