Job summary

CKI BUILDERS & ENGINEERING SERVICES is seeking a Safety Officer to monitor daily construction-site safety, conduct inspections, and ensure PPE compliance. You will investigate incidents and prepare safety documentation while coordinating with engineers and supervisors on safety concerns.

The role requires 40-Hour BOSH/COSH training and SO2 qualification, with preference for prior construction-site safety experience and solid knowledge of DOLE-OSH standards and CSHP.

Qualifications

• Must have 40-Hour BOSH/COSH training and SO2 qualification.
• Preferably construction-site safety experience.
• Knowledgeable of DOLE-OSH standards and CSHP.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willing to work on-site/project locations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily construction-site safety and conduct safety inspections.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Prepare safety reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and workers on safety concerns.
