CDCC Builders Inc. seeks a Project Safety Officer to develop, implement, and monitor safety programs across construction sites.

You will conduct inspections, identify hazards, and implement mitigation measures to prevent incidents, coordinating with project teams, contractors, and security staff to enforce safety standards. You will ensure DOLE compliance and submit mandated safety reports throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

• 40-hour Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Training completed with valid certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, preferably with safety management exposure.
• Knowledgeable about construction safety regulations, inspections, and hazard identification.
• Familiar with Safety Program submissions and CSHP compliance for the DOLE authorities.
• Experience in incident investigations, safety audits, and risk assessment.
• Ability to conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training for workers.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare safety programs, procedures and guidelines for the construction site.
• Implement and assess effectiveness through site safety inspections.
• Issue non-conformance reports to non-compliant personnel.
• Coordinate with security for on-site safety operations.
• Collaborate with trade safety officers to form and monitor safety committees.
• Coordinate with DOLE for Construction Safety & Health Program approvals.
• Submit regular DOLE-BWC reports (WAIR, AEDR, AMR, OSH Committee).
• Identify safety requirements, risks, and hazards; prepare mitigation plans.
• Establish Emergency Preparedness and Response programs and conduct drills.
• Develop hazard analysis prior to start and update as construction progresses.
