Job summary

EC Calderon Construction Development is seeking an experienced estimator to prepare project cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and quotations for construction projects in the Laguna area. You will work with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to gather pricing information and ensure accurate project documentation.

The ideal candidate has a civil or mechanical engineering background with at least 3 years in construction estimation or administration, and is proficient in Excel,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Civil or Mechanical preferrd).
• 3+ years in construction estimation, bidding, or administration.
• Skilled in preparing cost estimates and quantity takeoffs.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs and drawings.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and estimating tools.
• Organized, detail oriented with strong time management.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and quotations.
• Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, and bidding documents.
• Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to obtain pricing information
• Monitor material costs, quantities and other project expenses; handle reports and filing.
• Ensure estimates and documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
