Job summary

EC Calderon Construction Development is seeking an experienced estimator to prepare project cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and quotations for construction projects in the Laguna area. You will work with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to gather pricing information and ensure accurate project documentation.

The ideal candidate has a civil or mechanical engineering background with at least 3 years in construction estimation or administration, and is proficient in Excel,

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Civil or Mechanical preferrd).
• 3+ years in construction estimation, bidding, or administration.
• Skilled in preparing cost estimates and quantity takeoffs.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs and drawings.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and estimating tools.
• Organized, detail oriented with strong time management.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

This role involves preparing project cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and quotations for construction projects in the Manila area Manila. You will work with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to gather pricing information and ensure accurate project documentation.

• Monitor material costs, quantities, and other project-related expensesHandle administrative tasks, reports, filing, and project documentation
• Ensure estimates and documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time

About you

• Graduate of any Engineering course, preferably Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in construction, project estimation, or administration
• Knowledgeable in preparing cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and project quotations
• Able to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant estimating tools
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills
