Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group seeks a Licensed Civil Engineer to lead field operations on post-tensioned building or bridge projects across the Philippines. You will plan project work schedules, monitor costs, review shop drawings, liaise with clients, and ensure QA/QC and IMS compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Licensed Civil Engineer required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in post-tensioned building or bridge projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan project work schedules and control project costs.
• Assist Managers and Senior Engineers in preparing Site Activity Reports (SAR) and monthly Progress Reports.
• Conduct resource planning for manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Liaise with clients on-site regarding work-related matters.
• Review shop drawings from the Design Department and clients to address on-site construction issues.
• Troubleshoot on-site problems to minimize delays and costs.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and assist inspections and documentation.
• Support the Site Manager in identifying non-conformities and their resolution.
• Provide technical and practical support to Supervisors and Foremen during construction activities.
• Monitor material wastage and on-site productivity to reduce wastage.
• Ensure IMS processes and procedures are followed.
• Conduct OSH risk assessment and implement EMS registers.
• Maintain comprehensive records of site activities and daily operations.
• Ensure QA/QC documents are completed and submitted.

• Support the Site Manager in identifying non-conformities and assisting in their resolution with reference to project specifications.
• Provide technical and practical support to Supervisors and Foremen during construction activities.

• Ensure compliance with the company's IMS processes and procedures.
• Conduct OSH risk assessment and implement EMS impact & aspect registers.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all construction-related site activities, including work progress, resource usage, and daily operations.
• Ensure that relevant QA/QC documents (e.g., inspection reports, test results) are completed and submitted as part of regular site reporting.
• Carry out procurement of materials and equipment in accordance with company policies and delegated authority.
• Coordinate the delivery, retrieval, and inter-site transfer of materials and equipment to and from project sites and storage facilities. Ensure all transactions are properly documented using the relevant delivery and material transfer forms.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to construction activities, including delivery records, material transfer forms, permits, inspections, technical reports, and monthly stock take reports.

Qualifications:

• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in post-tensioned building or bridge projects is an advantage.
