- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or any related computer course.
- At least 1 year of experience in computer hardware support, IT infrastructure, or technical field service.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiar with desktop and laptop repair, printer maintenance, networking devices, CCTV systems, biometric devices, weighing scales, EAS/X-Ray systems, and other retail technology equipment.
- Knowledgeable in operating systems installation, configuration, and maintenance (Windows and related platforms).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, and routers.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues efficiently.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Ability to explain technical concepts and solutions clearly to non-technical users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hardware and Technical Support
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and peripheral-related issues through on-site, remote, phone, email, or chat support.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, weighing scales, POS peripherals, CCTV equipment, and other IT assets.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities including hardware inspections, cleaning, antivirus updates, system health checks, and equipment optimization.
- Monitor hardware performance and identify potential failures before they impact business operations.
- Replace defective components and coordinate warranty claims or vendor repairs when necessary.
- Maintain proper inventory and accountability of IT assets, spare parts, and equipment.
Retail Operations Support
- Ensure all store technology systems remain operational to support uninterrupted retail operations.
- Support and troubleshoot store-related devices including POS equipment, barcode scanners, weighing scales, receipt printers, EAS systems, and related retail technologies.
- Coordinate with store personnel and business units to understand operational concerns and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
- Proactively identify recurring issues affecting productivity and recommend long-term corrective actions.
Documentation and Coordination
- Log, document, and update all incidents, service requests, maintenance activities, and resolutions in the ticketing or helpdesk system.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, equipment status reports, and asset documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for equipment repair, replacement, and technical support.
- Escalate major infrastructure, network, server, or security-related issues to the appropriate technical teams.
Business and Continuous Improvement
- Support IT projects, store openings, relocations, renovations, and technology rollouts.
- Evaluate hardware performance and recommend upgrades or replacements based on business requirements.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and end-user productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures.
- Act as an IT business partner by understanding operational requirements and aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
