Job summary

SPX Express in Manila is seeking a regulatory compliance specialist to ensure all SPX facilities under their assignment meet government requirements year-round.

You will monitor end-to-end permits, engage LGUs such as BPLO and BIR, coordinate with hub teams, and manage relations with LGUs and partner lessors to minimize risk. This role requires strong detail orientation and stakeholder management in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable on processing of business permits and regulatory compliance for Warehouse.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication to build rapport with LGU offices (BPLO, BIR).
• Understand variations in permit requirements across LGUs and how to navigate changes.
• Willing to travel and multitask.
• Connections with different LGUs is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process end-to-end government compliances for SPX facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Manage stakeholders (LGUs, BFP, etc.) to minimize and avoid risks for facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Monitor internal stakeholders (hub personnel) for submissions needed for insurance enrollment.
• Monitor external partners' compliance requirements - ensure SPX partners are also compliant with their own requirements.
• Diligently update and track statuses for hubs' compliance for all facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Communicate with Internal Stakeholder management and partner lessors.
• LGU relationship building and management.

The primary role is to ensure that all of SPX's facilities under their assignment are fully compliant with all government regulatory requirements and able to continue their operations all throughout the year.

• Monitor and process end to end government compliances for SPX facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Manage stakeholders (LGUs, BFP, etc.) to minimize and avoid risks for facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Monitor internal stakeholders (hub personnel) for submissions needed for insurance enrollment.
• Monitor external partners' compliance requirements - ensure that SPX partners are also compliant with their own requirements.
• Diligently update and track statuses for hubs' compliance for all facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Communicate with Internal Stakeholder management and partner lessors.
• LGU relationship building and management.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable on processing of business permits (renewal, new, and retirements) and other regulatory compliance for Warehouse.
• Keen attention to details and has a good communication skills to build rapport with different LGU offices; specifically BPLO and BIR
• Knowledge on the nuances between the different permits' requirements, how to secure, and how to navigate changes from LGU to LGU.
• Must be willing to travel and can do multitasking
• Having a connection with different LGUs is an advantage.
