Job summary

SPX Philippines Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator to ensure all SPX facilities comply with government regulatory requirements year-round. The role focuses on end-to-end permit processing and liaison with local government units.

You will monitor permits, coordinate with LGUs and agencies such as BPLO and BIR, manage insurance submissions, and maintain ongoing compliance across multiple facilities. Willingness to travel and multitask are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable on processing business permits (renewal, new, and retirements) and other regulatory compliance for Warehouse.
• Keen attention to details and has a good communication skills to build rapport with different LGU offices; specifically BPLO and BIR
• Knowledge on the nuances between the different permits' requirements, how to secure, and how to navigate changes from LGU to LGU.
• Must be willing to travel and can do multitasking
• Having a connection with different LGU's is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process end to end government compliances for SPX facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Manage stakeholders (LGUs, BFP, etc.) to minimize and avoid risks for facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Monitor internal stakeholders (hub personnel) for submissions needed for insurance enrollment.
• Monitor external partners' compliance requirements - ensure that SPX's partners are also compliant with their own requirements.
• Diligently update and track statuses for hubs' compliance for all facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Communicate with Internal Stakeholder management and partner lessors.
• LGU relationship building and management.

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
