Job summary

SPX Express is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to ensure that all SPX facilities under their assignment comply with government regulatory requirements year-round.

The role involves processing permits, coordinating with LGUs (BPLO, BIR), and managing risks for warehouse facilities. Travel and multitasking are required to effectively monitor compliance and liaise with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor end-to-end government compliances for SPX facilities.
• Manage stakeholders (LGUs, BFP) to minimize risks for facilities assigned.
• Track submissions needed for insurance enrollment by hub personnel.
• Ensure external partners’ compliance with their requirements.
• Update and track hub compliance statuses and communicate with stakeholders.
• Build and manage LGU relationships.

Job Description

The primary role is to ensure that all of SPX’s facilities under their assignment are fully compliant with all government regulatory requirements and able to continue their operations all throughout the year.

• Monitor and process end to end government compliances for SPX facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Manage stakeholders (LGUs, BFP, etc.) to minimize and avoid risks for facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Monitor internal stakeholders (hub personnel) for submissions needed for insurance enrollment.
• Monitor external partners’ compliance requirements - ensure that SPX’s partners are also compliant with their own requirements.
• Diligently update and track statuses for hubs’ compliance for all facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Communicate with Internal Stakeholder management and partner lessors.
• LGU relationship building and management.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable on processing of business permits (renewal, new, and retirements) and other regulatory compliance for Warehouse.
• Keen attention to details and has a good communication skills to build rapport with different LGU offices; specifically BPLO and BIR
• Knowledge on the nuances between the different permits’ requirements, how to secure, and how to navigate changes from LGU to LGU.
• Must be willing to travel and can do multitasking
• Having a connection with different LGU’s is an advantage.
