About the role
The Compliance Officer is responsible for processing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance of company-owned, leased, or managed properties with applicable laws, regulations, permits, contracts, and internal company policies. The role ensures that all property-related documents, licenses, permits, inspections, and regulatory requirements are properly processed, updated, monitored, and maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Process and maintain property-related permits, licenses, registrations, certifications, and other compliance documents.
- Monitor the validity and expiration dates of property permits, licenses, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that properties comply with applicable government regulations, zoning requirements, building and safety standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with government agencies, property owners, landlords, tenants, contractors, and other relevant parties regarding compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular monitoring and inspection of properties to identify compliance gaps, deficiencies, or potential violations.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of property documents, permits, certifications, inspections, and compliance status.
- Prepare and submit required regulatory documents, applications, reports, and renewal requirements within prescribed deadlines.
- Track pending applications, renewals, corrective actions, and other property compliance activities.
- Identify expired, missing, or incomplete documents and coordinate with concerned departments for immediate resolution.
- Monitor compliance with lease agreements, property contracts, and other applicable property-related obligations.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Property Management, Legal Management, or a related field.
- Experience in property administration, real estate, compliance, facilities management, or regulatory processing is preferred.
- Knowledge of property permits, licenses, government requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple properties and deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
