Job summary

VBP Back Office Solutions Inc. seeks a Compliance Officer to help ensure operations align with government regulations, policies, and professional standards. You will monitor the compliance program, coordinate audits, and prepare timely reports to agencies such as PEZA, BOI, SEC, and DOLE.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, strong communication, and attention to detail. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve internal controls and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is required.
• Experience coordinating audits and dealing with regulatory bodies.
• Knowledge of PEZA, BOI, SEC, DOLE and related government agencies.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and reporting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Overview of the Role

The Compliance Officer will help ensure that the company operates in accordance with applicable government regulations, internal policies, professional standards, and accepted business practices.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support the effective implementation of the company’s compliance program.
• Ensure compliance with relevant government agencies, including PEZA, BIR, BOI, SEC, and DOLE.
• Prepare and submit required compliance reports to government agencies within established deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance activities.
• Monitor regulatory updates and identify potential compliance risks or concerns.
• Keep management informed of significant compliance matters and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and maintain readiness for audits.
• Collaborate with external consultants, legal counsel, and key stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct or coordinate risk assessments and facility inspections.
• Proactively review processes, practices, and documentation to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
• Respond to stakeholder due diligence requirements.
• Support compliance-related education and training initiatives across the organization.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve the company’s compliance processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in audit coordination and dealing with regulatory bodies.
• Knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements, particularly PEZA, BOI, SEC, DOLE, and other relevant government agencies.
