Job summary

Maya is seeking a Compliance Associate to support day-to-day compliance operations and build foundational knowledge in Maya Bank’s Compliance Program. The role involves data gathering, regulatory research, documentation review, and monitoring activities to ensure regulatory alignment.

You will assist in audits, prepare test documentation, and help disseminate regulatory updates to teams. Fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years in financial services are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience in financial services, compliance, risk, or audit-related roles are welcome to apply.
• Willing to be trained in compliance, AML, audit, or regulatory fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring regulatory issuances, policy drafts, and internal compliance documentation.
• Support the team in tracking and submitting regular and ad hoc regulatory reports.
• Assist in preparing documentation and responses for internal and external audits and examinations.
• Participate in compliance reviews by gathering data, maintaining working papers, and assisting in the documentation of test results.
• Maintain organized records of regulatory correspondence, reports, and internal compliance testing results.
• Assist in disseminating regulatory updates and compliance-related announcements to relevant teams.
• Conduct preliminary research on regulatory issues under supervision.
• Help in scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and preparing compliance dashboards or reports.

Overview

• Has above-average attention to detail, basic analytical thinking, and organizational skills. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and eagerness to learn.
• Fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience in financial services, compliance, risk, or audit-related roles are welcome to apply.
• Internship or exposure to banking operations, regulatory compliance, or corporate governance is an advantage.
